rear yoke

i dont have a torque wrench....just hand tools. i need to replace my yoke on the 35... anyone have a method to this? i am thinking just get it as tight as possible.....
 
Put a line on it with a crayon, across the pinion threads and the nut. Then when you reinstall it tighten it until the marks line up. Simple......

i hit mine with a 1/2" impact at 150psi until it stop turning...
