Check engine light comes on when starting again after brief shut down. Like when going for a loaf of bread, after it has been shut off for just a few minutes. Code 24 - TPS sensor. Replaced it. Disco'd the battery to clear the codes. No improvement.

Did you check the TPS with your ohmmeter? Does the light come on and stay on until the next start or just come on briefly? Could be wiring or a bad ground. Ground faults are hardest to find because a bad ground on one sensor can cause a fault on another. Start by cleaning the connector and checking the ground to the tps. Otherwise you might have to get it put on a scanner at the garage.

Once the light comes on, it stays on. I did the wiggle test on the connector, but did not physically clean it up. I'll do that. I have a FSM coming in the mail. I'll test it once I can figure it out.
I am guessing wiring of some sort, as I have replaced the part with a new one without improvement. If it is a bad ground on something else and it's throwing a bad code, I'll never find it. At least I have a dealership that is excellent.
