You folks that part out your vehicles,.... how do you get rid of the carcasses after all the meat is taken off the bones? Foolish but serious question as I do not have a backyard to bury a Jeep in and a car without wheels can't be towed to the graveyard.

Yard said to make sure I leave it up on blocks so they can get the back of the flatbed under it. They had no problem with taking it stripped to nothing, though i doubt I'll get it that far.

If you can't find someone to haul it off whole, another option is to section it with a sawzall and cart the pieces off. Most junkyards around here will take them that way.

cutting torch and flat bed trailer worked well for me....Chop it into little peices and haul it off.

Sawzall + the regular trash collectors over a several-week period = no more carcass.

my county dump charges to take yard trash, but dumping metal is free. chop it as small as you need to to fit it in whatever truckbed or trailer you have available.

I scrapped a 17' fiberglass boat that way... an ugly mid-70's tri-hull with a rotten floor & transom. If you have a way to haul it though, a steel car body could be taken to a metal recycler and traded for cash.

The town I'm in will take almost anything, I have left of axles, wheels, tires, waste oils, batteries, body parts (for vehicles) - cut up of course, >:-] and never have been hassled.

Around here we have people who will remove junk autos for free.Maybe the county pays a fee to them or the scrap yard buys the junk.
