I was wondering if anybody has done this swap. I need to know what tranny mount you used. I've heard the last year of the Cherokee used the NV3550. I am swapping it into an '88 Comanche, but using a 92 transmission cross member. I bought a tranny mount from NAPA for a 95 Cherokee. There are only two holes going to the tranny and the spacing is a bit wider (I think, might be narrower).
