Ok here is my question. I have been searching all over this site and many others for the TSBs on my Jeep. I have seen all of the ones on Alldata's site and that is what promted me to start the search. Can anyone point me to a site or place whwre I can get the information contained in the TSBs instead of just the number and what they are all about? TIA

I will have to try that. Only problem is getting to a library. They got me on 12s right now that is why I was asking if there was any place on line that had them. Thanks though.

2. Remove the fuel pump module lock nut using special tool number 6856 and remove the module.

3. Disconnect the level sensor wire leads from the module connector and remove the level sensor.

4. Install the new level sensor listed above, and connect the wire leads to the module.

5. Install the pump module using the new gasket supplied and tighten the lock nut to 54 Nm (40 ft. lbs.), using special tool 6856.

6. Install the fuel tank and refill it with the fuel removed previously.

yea, you are screwed, the sender that the recall covers is for 97 only, the fact that they all fail the same way in 98, 99 just means they wormed out from recalling those too. The main reason the 97 was covered was the result of a lawsuit....woman driving alone, at nite, dangerous, etc etc etc....

Go figure!!! Now how can they get away with something like that? Cause mine's been periodically reading 1/4 to 1/8 a tank off,

Geez, ya know when it rains it pours. Valve Cover Gasket, Engine skipping, t-case leaking....AGAIN, rear brake drums lock up instantly in the rain......now what!?

But I guess it's part of owning a Jeep, and stuff like seals and gaskets and spark plugs are all common wear and tear items. guess the pervious owner saw this coming and dumped the car...
