What measurements for new u bolts?

I am goign to be getting some used rear leafs and add them to my current springs for a BB but I want to get new U bolts and was wondering what I needed. They are like 1/2" right, but how long do I need them and anyother measurements I need? D35 BTW

I used 1/2".

Your axle tube diameter is 2.625".

I would buy 18" u-bolts (that's total length) and cut off what you don't need.

Get the nuts and washers.

Try to get the nylon lock nuts (I think thats what there called).
