anyone drill the flange/rotor to accept 5 on 5.5 doning a 44 swap up front and need the pattern thinking of buying spacers but wouldn't mind having a narrow track with in the rear for the turning.

i think it would be easier to use an f-150 8.8 they are already 5 on 5.5

if nothing else- you might be able to find disc's that work...

maybe get some axles cut and resplined?

Too bad you want to go narrow...

I'm swapping in a F150 8.8 to match the HP 44 up front...

it's full width and 5 x 5.5

They're usually cheaper than the explorer 8.8's too...

it's not realy that i want to go narrow it is that i am narrow the 8.8 is already under my rig. thanks for the info didnt' know f150's came with 8.8's does anyone know if they used the same disks except for the bolt pattern?

I don't know when they started running discs or if the backing plates will bolt right up to the Explorer models...

I'm planning on thowing discs on mine sometime in the future...

Right now the priority is getting it underneath...

I paid $50 for a surplus never installed F150 8.8 (drums tho) 4.10's and a
trashloc..

Re-drilling your rotors might not be much of an issue as long as you have enough space for the 5 x 5.5...

You might need custom shafts for those rotors to ride on tho...
