Messed up Firing Order, Is This Going To Cause Problems?

I did a tune up on my new (to me) xj today. I messed up the firing order and swapped #5 and #6. I started it up and it did not run right so I turned it off and took a look at it again and figured it out. Would something like this cause any long term effects? Damage anything? It seems to knock a little more now, dont know if its just me or if something did happen.

shouldn't affect anything really, if you stopped it and have it straightened out now should be fine

When I did the first tune up on my 96 I also changed the oil and trans fluid. I had a big knock. Restore quieted it down though.
