losing cool

89 xj: blower motor stops on acceleration, or when going up incline. Easing off the gas allows air to come on full. Am driving 150 miles a day on rolling highway.
Please give any advice that may help!

Actually your vents change from dash vent to defrost man. There's a vacuum bottol behind the RH side of the front bumper, that's the problem. Chekc it out. Also check the lines that go to it, theres a good chance that battery acid have eaten them next to the inner fender wall there.

I have the same "phenomena" occurring in my '94 - are my vacuum lines and bottle in the same location? Thanks!
