please dont blast me....
i replaced the disc shaft with a 297 1 piece shaft.....do i need to replace a seal on the disco side for it to be correct?

Actually you need to add a seal at the differential end of the long tube. The axle shaft dimensions are different and oil will leak past the disco seal.

so am i looking at the fancy aluminum ends with greasable fittings or is there a rubber seal i can throw at the end of the tube? if i am reading the other threads correctly i only need to do the disco side....?
