My friend told me that I could legally drive my XJ on the road without any doors, as long as I reattached sideview mirrors, and wear my seatbelt of course, I live in Oklahoma. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Also, if I can do this, any ideas of the type of mirrors that I could put on, or where to get them at would also be greatly appreciated.

Does anybody know a website, or a way to mount the new mirrors, i know i will have to drill some holes, also how hard are the doors to take on, and off? Im not worried about the electrical problems, like the dome light, and speakers, cause i dont need those, i was just wondering about taking the doors on and off.

What mirrors did you use, and pictures would be great, also this is my only car for the moment, and i dont have a garage or anything to keep it in, so ocassionally i will need to put my doors back on, for when its raining, and other instances.

Here's the link to the photo section. I got the mirrors at Autozone for like $10. When I put the doors back on I'll just screw them off and cover the holes with electrical tape (I'm not too worried about how it looks).

I believe harley mirrors, the rod at the base fits right through the pin hole in the door hinge.
