Seen it. Reminds me of a trail fix I helped perform one time. My buddies ZJ bent a tierod end. We straightened it with the help of a winch. Next hard climb, he snapped it where we had straightened it. Fine, well get a piece of tube and sleeve it to get it out of the woods. No welders so we decided to drill two holes at 90* on each side of the break and bolt it. Someone happened to have a cordless drill along. First hole done. Second hole battery dies shortly after starting. Hmmm. 12v drill, hey Jeeps have 12v batteries. So, we stole some heavy guage(why?) wiring from someones hoodlamp and clipped it to the terminals on the base of the drill. Then some jumper cables and we were good to go. I think we exceeded the duty cycle cap. of the drill as it was smoking by the time we were done. But it worked.

That was on the Bill Moore Lake trail here in colorado. We found it about an hour after the people hiked out to get a tow. Not only did they break the tierod but they also broke the rear window. The funny part is that wasn't even the hard part of the trail!

You mean this isn't GM's new H2-exclusive steer-through-tight-spots feature?
