front driveshaft question

picked up a front shaft to be used on my sye. i replaced all 3 u-joints and the dc seems to be pretty tight. is this normal. could this be due to the new joints or could the shaft need to be rebuilt? tia

my brand new front shaft from RE was really tight (on the double cardan end) but has run fine for the last 3,000 miles..

good to hear. really tight as in fairly hard to turn by hand? not that you would need to be a body builder to move it(if so big g i might need your help) but is by no means easy and free moving.
