Throttle body shaft wear

Need advice on how to fix throttle body shaft wear on a ’91 4.0L HO.
Except for a complete TB replacement, is there a manufacturer that makes a bushing/sleeve kit?

Not that I am aware of. A replacement used TB would be your cheapest fix.

What's the newest throttle body that will work with an OBD1 4.0?

Sounds like it might be worth it to grab the newest one I find in the yard.

Any '91+ 4.0 TB will do. If it's a '96+ version that has the MAP sensor mounted to it, you can plug the MAP sensor hole with some epoxy steel resin.
