has anyone tried to put a center counsil out of a 97or newer xj into 96 or older. What about the front doors and door panels. thanks

doors are the same, the onlt different body panels are the tailgate, and the fenders, and the front clip, the rest of the panels are interchangeable, The doors however did change in how they latch. I have seen pictures of a 97+ console in a older style XJ, but from what I have heard, hooking up the E-brake stuff is a PITA
