Thats why I wondered If anyone had one on a Comanche. I think that Toyota looks pretty crappy. It would be cool to have one on a MJ and it would def. make putting a internal cage in a lot easier.

Keep in mind that dodge made a convertible pickup back in the 80's or early 90's, dodge dakota. Back then the size difference between the MJ and the dakota was not that different. Might be able to get the hardware from them and build your own from there then have a top shop do the canvas..
Also look thru the quadratec catalog at the bikini tops for the CJ's and YJ's. They have one that drops down behind the front seats and has a toneau cover for the back half..

Any boating supply store carries tubing, ends, straps, hardware, canvas/nylon and flexible clear window material from which you can build your own bimini top. After rebuilding several boat soft tops, I'm sure a simple one could be fabbed up to fit nicely. West Marine comes to mind. Here's a link (http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?catalogId=10001&storeId=10001&categoryId=595&langId=-1&subdeptNum=58&storeNum=18) to their info on bimini hardware and accessories.

talk of this rag top thing in conjuntion with a cage
this lil rag top thing will have a frame taking up space in the already cramped (nless u'r a wee lil man) MJ cab then addin a Cage Inside of that, hmmm = even more cramped, right??
my thought is you're already gonna have a fair share of fab work installing this supposed KIT thing,
-- why not chop the top to your own liking,,
then cage the cab,,
-- then have a top/trim shop sew you a custom rag top to stretch over your new cage??
Chances are you'll have to make adjustments to the KIT top or frame somewhere to make it fit or to have a cage..
