Heater/AC controls

My Controls are screwed if I have the switch set on the dashvents at idle it works fine but if I start to accelerate the air goes to the defrost vents and stays that way until I let of off the gas.

anyone have any ideas?????

Vacum leak, start checking vac lines, pay attention to the one that runs under the battery tray to the vac reserve bottle that is mounted inside the front passenger side bumper, battery splooge usually eats it up..

Had the exact same problem a week ago, and the fix was just as described above. Brittle vacuum line broken just under the battery. $1 worth of hose at Autozone and the problem was fixed.

Also check the line along the passenger side just in front of the pressure bottle.
