Axle shaft replacement

is there a write up on axleshaft replacement? i have a dana 30 and chrys 8.25 if that helps. Tried searching but couldnt find anything. Thanks.

Front?

If so:
Remove tire
Remove brakes
Remove rotor
36mm socket and BIG breaker bar to remove axle nut(not really needed at this step, but it's easier to remove it when the axle is attached to the driveline..It can be removed before the tire if desired)
13mm 12pt wrench on the 3 bolts behind the knuckle..Remove
Either use an air chisel between the hub and knuckle, or pound on the mounting bolts from the back to remove hub.
Pull hub and axle from Differential.

Never had an 8.25 so someone else will chime in...IF it'a a basic C-clip axle:
Remove diff cover
Remove tires/brakes
remove centering pin in Diff.
Push Pass axle in untill it stops
Remove C-clip with magnet
Remove axle
Push in drivers axle
Repeat c-clipremoval
Pull axle out.

Check MadXJ.com. There's a pretty good writeup on upgrading the D30 shafts that will show you how to remove them. If it's the 8.25 then I dunno.
