Mirror mount bracket

I need to know where I can get the little plastic piece that holds the mirror to the door. It looks like there is a main piece of plastic that is attached to the door then this small piece that allows the breakaway bars of the mirror to fit into. Those broke when the mirror folded back. Is this something I can get from a vendor or should I find a parts vehicle? BTW this is a 96 4dr w/ black mirrors

So nobody has broken their mirrors? Anybody parting one out that I can get this from?

I don't have one but you can probably find one at the pick and pull.

Go to your pick n pull - I got the plastic mounting plate thingy off one at my local yard for nothing, but it may be easier just to get the whole mirror. I didn't go down that route simply because I've got manual mirrors, and they're like rocking horse sh1te around here. A really strong spring holds the mirror on, so be prepared for a fight with pliers and patience.
