Moab Easter Jeep Safari

Who is going to be in Moab for the Jeep Safari over Easter weekend? We will be down there Friday and Saturday night and want to do Golden spike on Saturday. If anyone is interested leave a post or private message us. We have been down the backside of this trail after doing Gold Bar Rim to Golden Crack but never beyond that. If you have a better idea for a run on Saturday let me know.

Better get going way before the official run at 8 am.

boy if the official run starts at 8 this year there leaving later than usual, last few years they left town at 7

I agree,, the Spike is one of my favorite trails, there is NO way I would try to do this on Big Saturday. even if I left 2 hours before RR. You really need to rethink the trail for that day. I (and about 15 others)will be down there for that weekend and the week after. Try to hook up, hit me backside, i'll give you my cell number,, we(jmaxj can atest to this, where is my Beam?)) are a fun group to run with... check the IC board for more info..

Well... I'd still love to do the Spike, but Saturday is sounding a lot less appealing now. I had no idea when RR was going to be doing that trail.

What are all your guys' plans for Saturday? We'd probably tag along if you had a trail run in mind. Oh, and we're staying at the Big Horn Inn, hopefully until Monday. A Sunday run for Golden Spike is sounding like a possibility if we stay that long..
