How would you like to see some more state forests actually open to 4WD use? How would like to have your voice heard and maybe even acted upon? Here is a real easy chance to have both of those... and an excellent way for us to make a point... we NEED a LOT of people to take this very simple, short to fill out CT DEP SCORP survey! Its posted by the CT DEP and is a planning tool that they are using in the formation of their new SCORP ( Statewide Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan) BTW... Pain Hill is in Nipmuck State Forest and most of us use that road/state forest at least once a year... even those out of state...
From thier site:

"DEP and UConn are conducting an "expert" survey to gather input on the personal recreational experiences of users of state and local recreational facilities. This confidential survey will be used to gather data on the frequency of use of recreational facilities and the degree to which these facilities meet the needs of their users. Anyone who has current or recent experience using State parks, forests, boat ramps or other State or local recreational facilities is encouraged to take this survey. Results are being collected through March 31, 2005. This survey can be accessed at: www.freesurveysonline.com/AskSurvey.fso?survey=5357&checkid=3931" or directly through the DEP site : http://www.dep.state.ct.us/rec/scorp/scorp.htm

Please take the time to fill this out and hit the submit button... should only take about 5-8 minutes. They will also stop taking comments by the end of this month so click on over there today!

THANX!!
