Did Chrysler ever off a 8.25 29 spline with 4.10s from the factory?

Yep, I have one in my 2001. They came in 4-bangers. Mine's from a '99.

THanks! Now, I wonder if finding an axle like that is a better $$ investment then going thru getting mine regeared?

It was for me. I got mine for $350 delivered AND it had a Trackloc in it the seller didn't know about.

Did you do the same for the front axle?

No, I just regeared the front and installed the Gleason-Torsen. (Although I'd LOVE to find a '99 front axle w/4:10s! High-pinion!):cool:
