NAXJA Forum Software Updates. Downtime

The forums will likely go down for a period of time later today. Anticipated downtime for upgrades/maint. is 1 hour.

I will try to post a 15 minute warning prior to turning off the forums.

NONONONONONONO, I'm stuck here moving databases, you are my lifeline.....the only thing in the break room is boxes of butterfingers and pretzels, no coffee, no soda, just bottled water been locked in here since 8pm last nite, the cleanup crew locked the front door after cleanin the rental hall downstairs....and the worst part is I'm down to my last smoke.... :rattle:

Not to worry, it generally goes quick. New files, update the database.... you can live. Other than being on the last smoke, that will hurt.

The custom hacks, like the "Chat link working again etc... take a bit longer, but that does not interfere with the forums working.

BTW, if you are that bored, join chat before the forums go down. :) IRC is best, as the chat link may die when the forums are shut down.

Maybe one of these days I'll figure out how chat works but not now.
