MJ rear springover

I am in the process of putting a D44 out of an 87 Xj in the rear of my MJ. Can anyone tell me what lenth of shock that I will need? This truck will see very little time on the street.

this can depend on a lot of things, but 11" travel shocks worked great for my MJ springover, they were about 15" compressed and 26" extended.
