this is the DS i just picked up at the local boneyard for 30 bucks. the cv joint is good and tight and the u joints look to be in good shape too. im not exactly sure as to where you measure from to tell the length of the shaft. in this picture, the other end of the tape measure is even with the center of the u joint on that end. this is fully collapsed. i collapsed it and held it up to my stock rear D/S and it seems to be about the same length as my stock rear DS as it sits. here is the pic: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v309/maw05/97XJ007.jpg
