Just as the title says it... Anybody remove the fan clutch all together and run a flex fan??

In my search for power from the mighty 2.5 I did that...didn't help and was noisy...now i have an electric fan...much better way to go and you can tell the difference in power and the engine revs quicker too...I used a 16" fan..
