Whoo-Hoo! Got my power antenna working

The power antenna on my ’88 Limited has not worked in 6+ years. I found one out of a ’00 Cadillac Sedan Deville that was an exact match. Only $3.00! It now works like a charm.

But now it’s kind of annoying having it go up – down every time I start/stop the Jeep. Maybe I’ll just disconnect it again. :banghead:

I agree that it's annoying having it go and down. You can always cut the three wires to the power antenna and install connectors. This way you can power the antenna up and then disconnect the wires so it stays up all the time. Anytime you need to "stow" the antenna just connect the wires up and power it down.
