ZJ/8.8 Brake swap - eliminate ebrake shoes?

Anyone know if there's a caliper that's interchangible with the ZJ or CrownVic/Explorer 8.8 that has a mechanical e-brake?

Would like to remove the e-brake shoes from my setup for a caddy-style ebrake caliper.

If you're going that route why not just buy the $7 caliper brackets from aa-mfg and weld them on? Then you can use the caddy calipers.

It's already done, this is more of a hindsight project.

I'll add it to my "would have done differently" list.
