Just talked to Led.They're on the road to camp at Quartzite(sp).They ran Highway to Hell yesterday.After Quatrzite they're heading to Parker.

Carnage update:
Sounds like Goatman cracked his front axle housing and ripped the track bar mount off the frame.
Someone else had a steering box failure.
I think he said someone had another R&P take a $*@t
Hinkley's ARB problem was wiring related,the locker itsself is ok .
I'm sure there was other breakage but the cell signal wasn't that great so it was hard to make out some of the other stuff he was trying to tell me.
Still lots of rain and mud just to make things fun.

Yup.... stopped at the FlyingJ in Phoenix, tugging Kid4lyf out to the campsite.

Carnage yesterday? FarmerMatt has a OBA leak and fixed (hopefully) a leak in the top cap on his steering box. Kid4lyf has creased most of the body, and shattered the right rear glass. Several tail lights were also shattered.

Highway to Hell is an awesome trail. Expect to break stuff. And winch at least a couple of times.

Picture report..... I've got 576 shots so far (THANKS Ecksjay!) I'll put them up on a webserver when we get back to Chicago next week.

What happens when your R&P takes a $#@t, First what exactly happens you lose some teeth? Then how would you fix it on the trail. Or can you limp back to camp?

Sounds like Black Beauty is not so beautiful anymore!

There's another thread going here in off topic that Fergie started that has some pics of both rigs.I just hope Led doesn't break too much stuff-we need to build my new rig before we spend time fixing all of his carnage.

From what I hear, the front quarter panel is not dented, and the widshield is still intact.

Either weekend after next or the following weekend.I'll PM you when we get it figured out.The old XJ is sitting on jackstands,stripped down and ready to go to the crusher.
