Power Windows 91 Laredo

Hello folks-

long time FSJ owner (Wag/Chero/J Truck), just got the XJ religion.

I'm going to go into the drivers door on my "new" xj.
The window is a little sluggish, but the main problem is that if you don't
leave 2" sticking up, the window sticks down.

I figure this is a common problem (at least it was on Grand Wags)
and I want to be prepared with the likely parts.

Does this sound like a track problem, motor, or both?
What's the typical problem here?

one last try...

I had this prob on my 90. I think it has to do with the track. I had plenty of power on the regulator, it just "jumped off" at the bottom. I took a rubber block (coil spring spacers I think) and put it at the bottom of the door so it wouldn't go down all the way. works great for now, those window parts are exshpenshive!!!
