Not sure if this is in the right spot but I'm looking for a hand tool that could give me about a 1/2-3/4" flare(or step) with sheetmetal. Does such a tool exist? I want a raised lip similar to the factory fender edges.

lol, thinking a piece of steel and vise grips might work just as well, just wondering if there any real tool out there.

flanging tool......the flange lip is only about 3/8"

Do you want to fold an edge over? Explain more what you want to do.

I want to be able to make a raised lip on the edge of a piece of sheetmetal. Similar to what the stock flares attach to. Thinking a formed piece of steel and vise grips might work well.
