4wheel drive clunk...help

im an avid offroader....ive got a 91 cherokee laredo 3 inch rustys aal kit and 31 10.50's

went up to a ranch that me and some buddys go to and put it in four...diddnt notice anything at first but after a while i noticed a clunking noise from tha jeep it seems to be right under the cab...any ideas?

determine whether it is from front(u-joints)
or mid cab( t-case chain)

i no this sounds stupid but how would i figure out which one it is

I had the same problem it only happened when in 4wd so I guess that would be one way to check if it's the t-case chain it will pop when engaged.

if it was that would it require replacing it,...or just fixing it,...and anyone know a price on somthin like that?
