Somewhere I heard that a WJ brake booster would go right in a XJ. You didn't need to swap rods or do any tweaking to make it work. Is this true? Ooops jsut found it.

The TJ brake booster is an even better swap. Same dual diaphragm as the WJ's but with a curved pedal rod like the XJ's. The only modification needed is to slightly enlarge the hole in the rod.
I'll be swapping an '02 TJ brake booster with MC and proportioning valve into my '92 XJ as soon as other parts (stainless steel brake lines, performance friction carbon metallic brake pads) for my brake system upgrade arrive.
