GPS Where to cram it?

Just bought a Garmin Street Pilot III and need to know where is a good place to put it. The dash, yes I know that spot but if there was any other nice place to put it that would be nice.

How big is the unit? I put an XM radio unit right beside my shifter on the console of my 98 XJ (AW4 Tranny) and it works great there.

You'll have to mount the GPS somewhere that it can see the sky, or use an external antenna. My GPS V is mounted on the dash, right over the radio.

Not in a Cherokee, but it can give you some ideas. By the way, the same setup is now ready to be installed in the XJ.
