Heater Fan Question

Could the heater fan in my 90 XJ(4.0) be replaced with one off of a TJ? I was wondering cause the fan in my XJ is always slow and I know of a place where I could get a cheap TJ heater fan.
 
I'm wondering if a 96' fan can be put in my 87'......don't see whynot...

sorry donno bout TJ's though.....
