This baby is a genuine AM/FM/CB/8-track stereo! That's right CB!!! Made by Cobra. I also got my Abba 8-track tape ready to go in that sucker!

I think if I just trim a tiny bit off of the dash bezel, it will look factory. :))

Yeah, I've actually seen some similar ones for sale at a local junk yard, but I think I'll stick with my aftermarket stereo that has the ability to play CD's......the CB feature would be nice though! :D

That's a nice combo... I didn't know 8-track tapes were still being made when Abba was on the charts. Btw, I have a brand new Pioneer KP8005 car casette player still in the box ... bought in the mid-70's and never installed it.
Too retro for me now ... I've upgraded all my tapes and vinyl to CDs.

lol ... I'm a purist but not that pure.
vinyl isn't practical anymore... not with my system.
the only analog component I have left over is my Nakamichi LX3.

Hear the music, not the equipment.

Nice. I agree 100% ... but my audiofile days are over.
my racks don't go that high.. had to integrate DVDs.

I have a 8 track recorder. A pioneer model that I used to make tapes for use in my car(72 Duster).Had to stop using them because the tapes were comming apart.
Now you just download what you want and burn a CD.

How do you keep it from skipping when you hit a bump?
