Picked up a Cobra 75WXST(or wahtever the letters are) and it did not have the inline fuse wired in.
I wired in a fuse holder, but need to know the size.
Thanks

P=V*I
I=P/V
and if I remember right the max power of a stock CB is 5 watts so
5W/12V=0.416A
so something in the 0.5A ballpark should work fine.

I have the same CB. It uses a 2A inline fuse. Don't go anyhigher than that. If your CB devolps a short, it'll burn before blowing the fuse.

While your Ohm's law is correct, no electronic circuit it 100% efficient. A 2-3 amp fuse should work fine. I would keep it towards the 3 amp range. If your antenna isn't matched perfectly or accidentally gets shorted to ground, you could pop a fuse real quick.

Thanks for the info guys.
I'd assume a 5A is too large, so I am goning witht the 3A like OM suggested.
Thanks again.
