Hey guys,

I took out my seat belt bolts a while back and just put the bolts back in the floor so water would'nt leak through into the cabin. now i would like to put the belts back in but the bolts are not coming out for anything, liquid wrench, hammers, big ratchets, even broke the teeth off two torx sockets! any ideas?

Thanx,

eric

How about a big vise-grips on the head? GEt it as tight as you can, and then wiggle back and forth (don't just try to loosen, but alternate directions until it starts to move).

When you put the bolts back in without the seat belts you did it to prevent water from coming in.
Did you put anything on the threads like silicone or locktite?

I remember having to use a breaker bar.
Maybe try using a high quality torx socket. A craftsman would at least be covered if you broke it again.
Good Luck...

Spray with PB Blaster from underneath.
