XP is very nice. Mac... no comment. I have one in the office somewhere, but no time for toys. *nix rules anyhow.

Have you seen how many security upgrades XP has needed so far? Pretty unstable to me.

Yea, I was down to one windows machine abd 3 U*nix boxes, then I just got my MS Action Pack tonight, ordered 3 new asus mb's, 3 P4 2.8ghx processors, memory and other stuff to build 3 new boxes for the action pack software. It's a good deal, $299 for Win2kAS, Server 2003, SBS, XP pro, XP office pro, Visio2003, front page, basically the whole MS product line. Glad I bought that 8 port KVM for my cellar shop/lab last month.
I just floored one of my customer/partners today with 9.1 mandrake, 22min start to finish install and up and running on the net, all thats missing is a visio and money/quicken equivilent, thats all I use my last windows machine for, layouts and bookeeping.
