mj steering on an xj?

can a 2wd mj's tie rod, drag link, and track bar be used on my 4wd xj?

Don't see why not, but if you have to replace yours why not just spring for a ZJ V8 tie rod????

Yes, the XJ and the MJ are identical ... within each year.

Somewhere around 1991 Chrysler changed the track bar. You can check Quadratec's catalog to see which year the change was made. One quiet Saturady morning at my dealer's shop we put both on the counter side-by-side and could not see any physical or dimensional differences, but when I put a slightly used '93 track bar into my '88 it moved the steering wheel off center, so there is a slight difference in length. However, it's otherwise imperceptible and it works fine.
