ok, so i tryed to order the inner pilot bearing from them so the 258 crank will mate to my AX15 and they dont have it in stock, nor will they order one for me. So does anyone know where to get one?

hmm, just went to the dealership today and they said that the part number for the '87-91 is diffrent. it started with 3300..... (sorry cant remember what he said).

I'm just overly cautious and if you all say its 53009180AB I'll order one.

The 53009180AB pilot bearing will work with the AMC 258 crank & '92-'99 AX15, but it won't work with the '89-'91 AX15. You need pilot bearing 33004041 so the stealership was correct.
