I have a 01' TJ LP D30 in the front of my 93'. I want to know if my old 93' D30 shafts and hubs will fit into my TJ 01'? If they do fit together, is it easy, basically want to use them as trail spares.

BillR, I know you answered this question, just want more confirmation before I have to actually try it on the trail.

Just bring a really big hammer. They'll fit ;)

Ok, I'll make sure your A$$ is right behind me when I break, :D

Hey, you missed all the fun playing in the MUD!

Shafts will fit. Not sure if the hubs work or if there's a minor height difference that would create an interference fit.

Thanks Eagle, I guess I'll have to practice on my new driveway. That way there won't be any surprizes on the trail.

my personal experience is this: i got a set of '99 TJ hubs & axles for my '87.... the axles fir without a hitch, but the hubs didn't work- the mounting flange was too big to fit inside the brake rotor 'hat'. of course, your newer model might not have the same problem... but it's easy enough to test-fit before putting everything back together :D
