Drum sizes?

I went to get new brake shoes today and they showed two sizes. I could assume that the 8.25 axle would have the larger drum(10") than the D35(9") but I wasn't shure. I remember seeing somthing about the police XJ's having larger drums but I didn't know the whole deal on it. I have a 99' Classic w/242 and 8.25 rear. Point me in the right direction please. :dunno:

if your not sure just get them both,return the ones you dont use.

Nope.

From 84 thru 89 or 90, the D35s got 10x1.75" drums and the D44s got 10x2.5" drums.

In 90 or 91 Chrysler changed over to 9x2.5"drums. A '99 is going to have 9" drums and the book should not even be showing a 10" option for that year.
