Prepare yourselves for some of the best work I've seen to date. My neighbor found this fine speciman for me and snapped a few pics. If I wasn't so scared that something would fall off and hit me I would be there now taking my own memories.

Seemingly nice Chevy running 49" Iroks until you actually look.

Some of my favorites are the:

Home made drag link with the but will adapters topped off with some kind of spacer to the knuckle. The added touch is the nice long bolts holding that arm on, hey at least they are grade 8,,,,, maybe:

Those bends aren't needed in the spring hanger are they?

Just cut them out so the V shaped springs will clear.

Correct angle on the shackle?

I'm hoping the tranny burns up from running stock gears (free fifties) before I actually see what happens to this thing on the first pothole in the road. Also was informed he wouldn't be wheeling until he got the front driveline vibes figured out. That probably won't happen very soon since he has to drive it around in low range.

Here's the rest of the pics:

I already did, but it's not as worthy as the recent updates.

If that was mine I'd have stacked lift blocks in the front.

He works for a local tire and alignment shop. He knows better.

Damn, I always wince when I see trucks like this. Being that high they are a dead giveaway for scary underpinnings.

From 20 feet it looks great, although for my taste I'd pull out 6-8" of lift and get busy with the sawzall.

Looks fine to me. Needs a bigger garage, though

Hey, then he should have no problem figuring out the vibration problems, right?

Not so sure. He did add a 1" t-case drop and it appears he rolled the caster forward on the front axle too. Look at how that steering arm has a nice downward pitch.

I just noticed how the u-bolts have no threads peaking though and no lock washers either. :lecture:
