Updating front end to 97, have questions..

Ok, so I am updating the fron end, thinking of buying new fenders from EBAY for the cherokee.......my question is will I be able to bolt my old fender flares to the newer style fenders? It appears from the pictures on ebay that they have mounting holes for the fenders, just want to make sure.

Bob Salemi was able to bolt new-style flares to old style fenders, so I think the reverse should work, but I'm not certain.
