I need some peoples opinions

I just got a AA sye and tom woods driveshaft installed on my jeep with a 4.5" lift. As soon as i started to drive it home i heard grinding in the rear. It seems to happen alot when I go around turns and my tires have to move at different speeds. Im pretty sure its coming from my rear differential (3.55, 8.25) and ive had a small leak on the seal for a while. Could I be low on fluid in the rear or what. though i started to wonder why i wouldnt have heard it before the lift, any ideas or suggestions would be great. im planning on draining and refilling the diff asap.
