(cheap) that'll reflect heat back off a homebuilt fipk.

Thanks,

Same stuff you use for roofing, that comes in aluminum rollsa about 8" wide I think. Used in valleys and such, what it's called slipped my mind, too early yet...
Flashing.....

Try an aluminized folding windshield sunshade, the type sold at auto parts stores. They are designed to reflect heat and are made from a stiff material that can be cut and shaped. Use aluminum mending tape to form the corners.

I'd think about that first. I believe those are made out of cardboard. I don't think they're made to take that high a temp.

cardboard and aluminum tape...
if your cheap and poor like me

I found a metallic windshield sunshade in the house, think it belonged to my sister. Might test it out (or part thereof) under the hood to see if it holds up.

Thanks,

That's what I used 'cause I'm cheap too. This is space age technology at its best but without the cost :D

As I get older, cheaper is indeed better.
