Lower power draw will alter the blink rate.

I've got FarmerMatts LED taillights on my rig, and, i want something brighter in the front. So, those are just ebay replacments? Hmm. Time to go check out Ebay. Oh, and, about the blinker, go to autozone or your local shop and replace the flasher down on your fuse box. I had to because the taillights messed mine up.

Do they only light up the top half of the corner lens, or does it just look that way in the picture?

Yeeup, just white leds from ebay to relpace the 194s and the 1157s...

And yeah, they only light up the top half, isnt that how it looks normally? I cant even remember....It could also be the housing of my clear corners.

Yeah, with clear corners that is all you get. Stock you have a amber lens so the light relfects through it much better............. :wierd:

That's a damn lie. It looks the same with clears as it does with amber. Only the top half lights up because that is where the bulb is and there is no reflection assembly to focus light downward.

No. The color of the lens has nothing to do with how it reflects the light. The clear corners should light up the whole way like this:

(notice how yellow the bulbs look :wierd: )

DeftwillP - Yes, there is a reflector, and I stuck an LED flashlight in one of my corners to see how it would look...lit the whole thing up fine.

I think I got my 1157s for 8$ shipped and each of the 194 sets for 6$ shipped...so not toooo much of a diff. But good link nonetheless.

Wow what a valid thing to argue about. My clears lit up all of the way, then someone stole them and now I rock these clears.

On a related note, I just installed some 100/90w H4's and upgraded the wiring and the difference is unbelievable. I was getting 6v to the headlights before, now I'm getting 12.5v and the new lights make night driving a lot less stressfull. If you are going to spend money on lights do the headlights first.

I do want to do a wiring upgrade on the headlights, but its just another thing to add to the list.

I used this harness, and it took a half hour to install and all of that was taking the clip apart to route the wire.

I didn't even need to lengthen any wires it all just plugs in. Just the wiring alone is a big improvment.
