vibes on take off

well i just got bakl from a little muddin at a local 4x4 park, nothing to hard core.....anyway im having vibes seems like there under my console but im not sure if a driveline vibe would make the console vibrate. if i hit passing gear its the worst but when i get off it almost stops...kinda funny...i did a search, id get under and take a look but its dark now. anyway im just posting to see if i can come up with more ideas. im hopeing its not tcase or tranny but all feels fine power wise and there arent any noises coming from under just the vibes..anything helps, thanks

Check the U-joints of the rear driveshaft and the output shaft of the TC for play. I think the problem's almost certainly one of those areas. A large chunk of mud stuck to the driveshaft could be enough to make it out of balance and vibrate so you might wanna check that too.

could also be mud in your wheels, enough to put them out of balance, but by your descriptions i would alsoguess a driveshaft ujoint might be going or gone

I agree with Dr dyno, you might also check you rear spring packs if you broke a main leaf you'll get alot off axle wrap under accelleration causing vibes.

Had the same exact problem you had. Vibrates hard under acceleration then when you let off the gas, it quiets down.

Went under the Jeep and lo-and-behold, broke a u-joint. Replaced 'em and now all's fine.
