I have the oppotunity to get a 76 CJ7 for free. My dad built his 49 with another guy who was workin on his CJ. Now the guy wants it gone. Front/Rear D44's, Chev. 350, TH350 Tranny, Needs Tires/wheels and some wiring as well as a few other things. Im only 16 and a V8 Jeep will be a handful with insurance so Ill have to get rid of the XJ. Am I still welcome here?

You will find that the CJ will be a pretty much summertime top and doors off vehicle. They ride hard, they really are not that comfortable. Get it tricked out and sell it, pick up a TJ, theres alot of 97's around in the $4K range. Hunt around for someone selling tires/wheel combo thats upsizing. Get a maaco or earl shive paintjob, hit some swap meets, etc...
